Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw (Elizabeth Alice MacGraw) is a American animal rights activist, author, model and actor. Ali MacGraw is well-known for films such as Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. Born and raised in a family of artists located in New York she wished to pursue a career in the field of art. Her first job was as a photo assistant. Then she moved on to modeling and acting. She was awarded her the Golden Globe Award in 1990 because she was a promising actress. MacGraw was a household name after the 1970 hit film Love Story. She was considered for nomination to one of the Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. After only three movies, she received the title of top female box-office debut around the globe. Her footprints from 1972 along with her signature were recorded on the wall of Grauman's Chinese Theater. The other films she has appeared on are The Getaway Convoy Players, the miniseries on TV The Winds of War and other. The autobiography of MacGraw Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw is divorced three times.
