Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise has been a performer, writer, and actress in the United States for the past forty years. She is most famous for her character Ginger Grant (in the 60s television show Gilligan's Island). She began acting as a stage performer in the 1950s starting with Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. Following that, she performed on Broadway for a number of performances until 1957 when Li'l Abner became famous at the National Theatre. In the same year, she recorded her first album, It's time for Tina. Her first appearance into Hollywood was in the role of Griselda as Griselda in the film God's Small Acre, which was a 1958 film. The film was met with wide applause. Louise won the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the year category. While in New York, Louise enrolled at Actors Studio and began her friendship to Lee Strasberg. The next notable role she played in the role of Ginger Grant, which CBS signed her up to play in the year 1964. Louise Balfour was able to juggle between Broadway and Hollywood portraying somber character as opposed her perceived image as an attractive doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1 and Sanctuary however she also made a mark as an accomplished television director on various series like Supernatural and The 100. She was birthed in Essex on the 28th of August, 1965. The family moved to Toronto to spend her youth. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver and Canada, following her decision to play the lead.
